Giannaki' s Bay
Our apartment is a short walking distance from the beach, thus offering you a quiet place to relax and be delighted by Kardiani looking over the coast. If you like to walk, you will have a great pleasure in climbing a nice path leading to Kardiani, Tinos pearl.
Kardianis’ inhabitants often have a secondary house or a field by the sea to fish or enjoy the peaceful beach. Here you have two taverns, one, Anemos, on the beach, very close to the sea, and the other one, Dinos, where you can admire the magic of a leisurely sunset. Both taverns are on the beach, tasty and welcoming. The bay is very calm and non touristic with a panoramic view on Syros, sometimes Paros and Rinia close to Delos and Mykonos.
In order to shop for food products, you will have to go downtown or to Pyrgos which is about 20 mn drive (this beautiful, typical Cycladic village is worth the ride).
A car is a must either to go shopping or to visit the authentic villages full of charm. You really need a car.
Giannaki bay will charm you with its calm atmosphere, ideal for rest and relaxation. You can let your children enjoy the sea in a transparent turquoise water in total security.
From the bay, you have direct access by car or on foot to two other creeks of different character: Sitting at its beach bar, in the shade of the trees or under a parasol Kalivia is worth it. On the other hand, Agios Petros is wild and peaceful.
